Jerome McCrimmon was born in the Bronx, New York to the late James Tokin and Geneva McCrimmon on August 27th, 1957. Jerome or “Knock Goo-Goo” (as he was called by many), the second born of seven children, passed away in the hospital on December 7th, 2019 after many months of illness.
Jerome McCrimmon was raised in New York City and attended public schools including Wadleigh Junior High School and Brandeis High School. After graduating from high school, Jerome began working in the garment district where he was a merchandise receiver for many years. Jerome was a son, a father, and a brother who loved his family! He enjoyed a party that included a game of spades, good food, and all of his family in one place! Jerome was also an avid sports fan who loved his New York teams despite their ability to maintain a winning record!
Jerome McCrimmon is survived by his son Farris McCrimmon, his daughters Ashley Everett and Doreen ‘DJ’ Haskins-McCrimmon, his sisters Sharon McCrimmon, Felicia Espinosa, and Nicole McCrimmon, his brothers Hugh McCrimmon and Christopher McCrimmon, his grandchildren Akilah Briggs-Melvin, NachelleMcCrimmon, Xavier McCrimmon, Greyson Everett and Garrison Everett and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Jerome was preceded in death by his mother Geneva McCrimmon and his brother Ronald McCrimmon.
